Culinary bike tours. 8-days trip

  Day 1.

Arrival to Poznan. Sightseeing of the city with a guide. Dinner in the Old Town and tasting the specialties of the Region

  Day 2.

Ride to Mikolajki. En route sightseeing of Torun and a short visit in Olsztyn. Overnight in Mazury region.

Day 3.

From Mragowo a cross-country bicycle tour to Swieta Lipka with a short organ concert in a beautiful baroc church. Today's bike tour trough the picturesque polish countries is about 30 kilometers (asphalt, wood and field roads, ab. 1 km breakstone). During the dinner you will have the opportunity to taste the polish specialties, ex. Dumplings, polish rye soup. If you'll have enough straight yet, we go on 15 km to Rastenburg and visit there the St. George church. Coming back with the bus to Mikolajki.

Day 4.

Ride with the bus to Gierloz. There visiting the former main base of Hitler "Wolf rampart". The bike tour begins in Gierloz and leads to Sztynort - here a short visit in the castle ruins of the Lehndorff family. After the fruit - break we go on through the Mazury. In Sterlawki we will enjoy tasting the Lithuanian cuisine and go further to end the ride in Gizycko. Route length for today about 50 km 

Day 5.

Today's route leads through a picturesque Piski virgin forest from Mikolajki to Ukta. Here we will invite you for a boat trip through the river Krutynia, about 10 km. In Krutyn city we will rest by the delicious fishes from local lakes. Further road by bicycle to Wojnowo, where you'll visit the Closter of the Old Believers and then to Pierslawek - Ernst Wiechert's place of birth. Route length about 45 km. You will be transferred from Kleinort to Mikolajki by bus.

Day 6. 

In the morning, bike ride from Mikolajki through Stare Sady to Sadry. Everyone who comes here is obliged to see the Heimatmuseum - a place in memory of Germans expelled after the World War II. The dinner will be prepared especially for you by Mrs. Dickti from the Eastern Prussia. She'll cook her famous Kaliningrad's meat-balls. From here you ride to Szestno to see a wonderful church. On your way back you will have a break at Łukajno Lake with the swan's reserve. In the evening - possibility of organizing a folklore performance "The Masur Fellow Wedding" with carriage trip, food, vodka, dancing...

Day 7.

Your trip through Warmia and Mazury ends in Olsztynek, where you will visit an interesting heritage park. You will be invited to a typical Warmia's agro tourist house for lunch. Further ride through Grudziądz and Chełmno to Bydgoszcz with the bus. Dinner and overnight in a stylish hotel.
