Population:

Of the total population of 38.7 million, 300,000-500,000 are German, 300,000 Ukrainian, 200,000 Belarussians, with Slovaks, Romas, Lithuanians, Czechs, Greeks and Macedonians making up the remainder. 

Religion:

97 percent of Polish citizens is Roman Catholic. The remaining population of Poland is composed of about 575,000 members of the Russian Orthodox faith, 267,000 Protestants, 80,000 Old Catholics, 5,200 Muslims and 5,000 Jews.
